Yesterday’s post drew a lot of comments. It makes me happy to see the emojis that show me you are reading my posts (and I hope, learning from them). I know we have both Democrats and Republicans who read this (My Facebook friends list is primarily an extended family audience) so I want to point out that the items I comment on are NOT part of a campaign for either side. I react to what I see and hear. Despite the wonderful support the US government has given Israel, The current American government has some really big issues of cognitive dissonance when it comes to the Arab-Israel conflict. America went to war against ISIS (a radical Islamic group) after 9/11. Hamas is also a radical Islamic organization, but appears to be given a different reception. I view radical Islam as a threat to all Western civilization. It affects between 15-25% of Muslims. That’s a very large number of people. When I was 10 years old I wrote my first letter to the editor of the Denver Post, It was in support of the American tradition of separating Church and State. The Arab world doesn’t have that tradition.Download
