Eurovision, for those who don’t know it is an annual song contest with entries from European countries.

In popularity, it’s similar to the super bowl halftime show.

The administrators just decided to let Israel participate after some members complained about political bias.

So Israel got permission to participate. Russia has been banned for a couple of years (Ukrainian Invasion)

And some countries have withdrawn their own participation because Israel is being allowed in.

Ireland, Netherlands, Slovenia and Spain all withdrew.

They seem to have forgotten that it was the Hamas terrorists that attacked Israel.

They also aren’t paying attention to the recent spate of reports that are now rejecting Arab claims of Genocide and Starvation in Gaza. They were all fabricated ‘fake’ news to begin with, It seems a number of mainstream media were “fooled” into blaming Israel. At the BBC some top executives lost their jobs due to anti-Semitic (some call it anti-Zionist) bias.

I still haven’t seen a major media story that looks at the way the Arab governments in Gaza used UNRWA schools to teach their children to hate and kill Jews. Such indoctrination started even at the kindergarten level.

I would like to see the countries that withdrew reconsider and reverse their decision. Eurovision is not supposed to be a place for making political statements disguised as “humanitarianism”
