Time to eat crow. On Wednesday I posted a story about a failed Houthi attack. I got several details wrong. The attack did take place, and it did fail. But it wasn’t a hijack attempt. It was an attempt to sink, or badly damage, a merchant ship. The attack used an unmanned boat packed with explosives. The ship wasn’t Ukrainian. It was a Liberian flagged container ship. The members of the team of defenders who destroyed the explosive boat with gunfire were Ukrainians.
IDF soldiers found the bodies of 5 victims of the massacre that had been brought to Gaza and buried in the wall of a tunnel. It’s scary to think about the actions Hamas took in bringing those dead bodies from Israel to use as a bargaining chip in negotiations. What kind of people do that?
We might remember that Kamala Harris spoke about Palestinian suffering and starvation (a well-known false accusation) after she met with Israeli PM Netanyahu. She did not emphasize the details of the terrorist massacre of Oct 7th. That makes me wonder what kind of a person she is.
