Hamas has made an attempt to reuse the fake news “starvation” claim. This time they say the problem exists only in the northern Gaza strip which is under Israeli control. It is still just as untrue as it was before. An interesting side note to this is that there over 1000 trucks of aid that are being held up near Rafah (southern strip) because the UN doesn’t want them to travel into an area under Hamas civil control where the aid would be stolen.
Here is an older report taken from Palestine Media Watch relating to some problems that Palestine Authority employees living in Gaza have encountered. Hamas controls the banks and have restricted access for former PA employees to the accounts where those people have funds.
