Gaza War 30Apr

The American Gaza temporary port for receiving humanitarian aid is now being constructed. As this is happening some new items are coming to light. Some of these may be fake news, but the idea that someone would take the trouble to report them is even interesting on its own.

First. There is another report that Gazans are complaining that American aid packages (air dropped?) contain Skittles Candies, and that the packages are out of date. Why would packages like that be dropped as humanitarian aid? If the story is true, why the complaints? Are starving Gazans so picky that they reject free food items? Or maybe they aren’t really starving? That last idea has some corroboration from a separate report that says the market price of food in Gaza is about one quarter of the prices in Israeli markets. Part of that is believable because the aid food is delivered free and much of what is sold on the market is food that Hamas just confiscated and sells at a 100% profit. It cost them nothing. The whole exercise (confiscation and sale) is just one more way the donors finance Hamas terrorism. That part of the story has been shown to be true before, without the price comparison. It also leaves an open question about why Hamas is able to do this. The media loves to talk about alleged Israeli ‘crimes’, but nobody reports on Hamas criminal activities, even when everyone knows they are taking place.

This leads to the next item. The Hamas ‘invasion’ of October 7th, including all the actions that occurred against civilians (murder, rape, kidnapping, arson, etc.) are true war crimes. The constant daily firing of rockets and missiles into Israel also fall within that definition. Hezbollah claims they are shooting at military targets. What they are hitting is civilian homes and farms. It’s not that their rockets are impossible to aim. They aren’t causing so many Israeli casualties because Israel is effective when protecting their country. The reason there are so many Palestinian casualties (if their numbers are to accurate) is because Hamas wants the media to report them in order to gain more support for their demands. So Israel suffers because the IDF is good at its job.
