It’s not because they aren’t trying. Radical Islamic groups launch rockets at Israel every day. The interesting thing is that they do this even when the results are so poor. The dismal thing is that the world media spends so much time talking about Palestinian dead. There are few Israeli casualties because we value human life. The actual ratio between civilian casualties and belligerent deaths is less than 2 to 1 in Gaza. American forces in Afghanistan scored about 9 to 1 (and that was considered good?). The US left Afghanistan, so that the Taliban regime can now institute Sharia (Islamic law) and stone WOMEN (not men) to death for adultery. This is not an April fool’s joke. Radical Islam wants Sharia implemented all over the world.
Hamas and Hezbollah are both Radical Islamist movements. Both have been successful in promoting the spread of their ideology among Muslims living in areas under their control. Some of that success may be because they don’t hesitate to kill people who don’t follow their rules. I chose those words very carefully. I did not just say “people who oppose them”.
The US is trying to put together a military force to protect the port they plan to construct for Gaza. They want neighboring Arab or Muslim countries to provide the troops (both to avoid putting Americans in danger and to avoid the appearance of a foreign ‘occupation’ force). Who opposes this idea? You probably guessed; Hamas!
