It looks to me like the little dispute between Iran and Pakistan will dry up and go away. If there is a lesson to be learned from it, I would think it’s one the USA should take to heart. If someone uses force against you, or your territory or citizens, then you need to respond immediately, and with even stronger force. I’d say disproportionate, but that would not be politically correct. The fact that the US seems more concerned with avoiding a larger war in the Middle East appears to be preventing taking the very steps that would cause that war not to happen.
The US Navy lost 2 SEAL team members while intercepting a munitions ship from Iran that was en route to Houthi Yemen. Taking one ship doesn’t disarm the Houthi terrorists. Stronger action is needed.
CNN spent a long time this morning talking about IDF activities damaging Gazan graveyards. The vast majority of their time, and the people interviewed, was used to make assertions, some direct, some veiled, that the IDF was committing war crimes. All IDF responses were made to look suspicious by the phrasing “CNN has been unable to independently verify this”. No such phrasing was used regarding the accusations. The presenter, Nic Robertson, has been taken by the IDF to see, first hand, what the IDF has encountered. He even cast aspersions on that by saying the IDF would only allow him to go in certain places. That limitation was for his own protection, and he was told so before he went. No such comments were made about the filmed items from Gaza that he presented. They were aired as if they were uniformly true (and MY experience tells me they have been edited in order to give an anti-Israel slant to the presentation) Robertson has seen the places where Israeli forces set up field fortifications at the edge of graveyards to protect IDF soldiers. He has been informed that Israeli graves registration teams have dug up recent graves in an attempt to locate bodies of dead Israeli soldiers and hostages (because Hamas is unwilling to provide information about that, another fact he knows, but was unwilling to include in this broadcast). The entire broadcast was so biased against Israel as to be properly labelled disgraceful. It’s just one more item justifying my statement that “More people get their DISINFORMATION from CNN than from any other source.”
