This is hardly a truce. It reminds me of 1948. Several military operations took place in between UN imposed cease-fire arrangements. Moving onward, there are at least three scenarios; Hamas accepts demilitarization and exile (not very likely), Hamas releases all hostages in return for continued truce (likely only if there is resettlement option for Gazans), Refusals to release hostages (meaning an end to the truce and resuming the war). None of them is an easy choice.
In Iran there is what appears to be a near panic as the Iranian armed forces are rushing to build a new air defense system while expecting an Israeli or American (or both?) attack on their nuclear facilities. Maybe this will lead to real (verified?) halt to that program? Meanwhile, world attention seems to be focusing on the Ukraine-Russia War. Trump promised a settlement of that conflict, and he may be about to deliver on that promise. But the final deal could leave both sides unhappy (and the rest of the world relieved that the threat of an expanded, possible nuclear, war is disappearing).
The various Islamic terror organizations all over the globe might be in for a spring that is not to their liking. The refusal of the Saudi and UAE governments to commit any funding to rebuild Gaza as long as Hamas is still in power might lead to a solution to that conflict, too. If it does, look for some nominations for Trump to get a Nobel Peace Prize.
