Warning! I am about to complain (again) about one of my least favorite TV news programs. If you guessed it was CNN, you’re right.
This is the way I saw it.
Today I watched CNN ‘report’ on an alleged IDF air attack on an Arab ‘refugee’ camp. The report said they checked with the IDF and the IDF said they had no knowledge of any activity of that kind anywhere near that location or that time. There is (of course) no indication of any potential military target near there. The victims are mostly children, which CNN was happy to photograph. They also collected shrapnel and other remnants of the reportedly sophisticated missile and trotted out an ‘expert’ to say that Hamas has nothing like that in their arsenal. That meant it had to be an advanced missile, probably launched from a drone. The report was made from inside the Gaza strip, inside the Hamas controlled area. CNN said their own investigation was the source (not Hamas?) and they liberally illustrated it with photographs of bodies and a badly injured boy who was not expected to survive.
Anyone who believes any of this drivel probably also thinks that Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny are real.
CNN knows that ALL reporting from inside Hamas controlled areas is carefully censored. The video was actually shot by a photographer who was either supplied by Hamas or cleared by them (and probably told what to shoot). This sort of report makes great theater and is just the kind of thing that the Hamas propaganda branch likes to produce (Kudos to Pallywood). But naturally, it is so much better if some big name media takes credit for it. In my opinion, it is another example of why I say more people get their misinformation from CNN than from any other source.
