On Friday an IDF Special Forces group made an attempt at rescuing another hostage. It was not successful. The hostage was no longer at the location, and neither was his body.
Hamas then claimed that the hostage was killed during the rescue attempt. But they still have the body. It looks to me like they are trying to cover up another hostage murder. There are still about 130 hostages that have not been freed, despite the fact that international law calls for the immediate, and unconditional, release of civilians taken captive.
More Hamas unlawful combatants have surrendered in Jebaliya. The video I saw of this event shows them turning over their weapons. Hamas terrorists engage in fighting wearing civilian clothing. It even shows in some of their own video footage. They do this in order to masquerade as civilians when moving from place to place. They keep stocks of weapons and ammunition in many places. This includes schools, mosques, hospitals, and also people’s homes. Sometimes they move using ambulances to take them from one location to another.
The humanitarian aid shipments are often used to smuggle in more weapons. I had previously mentioned the discovery of drones in one shipment. Recently a load of large stuffed toys was inspected and rifles were found concealed inside large stuffed teddy bears.
The cries about humanitarian crises still keep coming up on all the major media. UN agencies are particularly prominent in doing this. Hamas has always preferred to have others do the dirty work. The simplest way to end the war is for ALL Hamas terrorists to surrender. When Israel first established safe zones for civilians to get out of combat areas Hamas shot at them and fired mortars at them. Now they falsely claim that Israeli air attacks are being made in declared safe areas.
The media regularly quote casualty numbers from the Gaza Medical Ministry as fact. One cannot help but wonder how they can get those “accurate” numbers when they “cannot locate” hostages or provide the Red Cross (or anyone else) with any information about those hostages.
