This morning there was a rumor that Hamas was talking to Qatari and Egyptian representatives about a renewed Hostage for cease-fire deal. This looks to me like a fake news ploy. Hamas already made a series of absurd demands, including end of blockade and independence, when they left the negotiating table in Doha. This is just another opportunity to keep their demands in the headlines.
I was more interested in the testimony at the UN regarding sexual crimes by the terrorists during the 7 October massacre. A lot of this information was censored from Israeli media because of the “disturbing graphic detail”. All I had heard before was edited generalities and bottom line summaries.
I’m still amazed that major international media still finds Hamas propaganda about suffering civilians more newsworthy than the atrocities the terrorists committed during the massacres of October 7th. The fact that the attacking terrorists that day were given cheap amphetamines (Captagon) before going off to kill people is another error of omission that the major media news editors seem to have ignored. It was known in Israel and covered in some Indian media, but only USA Today gave it a mention in America. CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, BBC, France 24 and Sky News never reported that Hamas terrorists were given ‘uppers’ before they went on their “slay-ride”.
