Yesterday I tripped and fell 0n the sidewalk leading to our house. Both hands have slight injuries. This makes typing difficult and may affect this, and future, daily reports.
Israel has released more data about the tunnels under Al-Shifa hospital. Exploring the tunnel connections is a slow process due to precautions taken to protect IDF soldiers and the hospital. One tunnel led to a blast door that the IDF is reluctant to use explosives to open. Such action might damage the foundation of the hospital above it.
Hospital CCTV footage that was captured did show two hostages being brought to Al-Shifa. One of them was a Thai national and the other from Nepal. One was brought in on a Gurney, but the other was walking on his own, which makes any claim that they were being taken to the hospital for treatment unlikely.
Hospital documents in Arabic also reported on treating an Israeli hostage whose body was later recovered there by the IDF. The treatment report indicates she was alive and well at the conclusion of the treatment. The IDF sees this as proof she was later murdered by Hamas, and as further evidence that the hospital was used by Hamas to hold hostages.
Final item; Houthi rebels in Yemen have seized a ship (An auto transport named Galaxy Leader, Japanese owned, operates under a Bahaman flag) claiming it is Israeli property. There are no Israelis in the crew. Looks to me like a simple case of state supported Piracy. There used to be an international patrol off Yemen/Somalia to protect merchant vessels from this sort of terrorism/blackmail.
