It Was My Birthday!

As some of you may know, It was my Birthday last week.

It was a special birthday. Everyone in the immediate family knows I am 12 years old.

If women can say they are 29 years old and holding, I can decide to always be 12 years old.

I chose to be 12 because I never want to lose the curiosity and wonder at the world that goes with that age.

I want that condition for all my children and grandchildren (and great granddaughter), too.

The opening picture is from a birthday card my granddaughter, Paz, made for me.

The following picture is of the card my younger son, Elisha, got for me. It looked like a normal greeting card

with an anchor when I took it out of the envelope. But when I opened it, a folded, three dimensional,

sailing ship popped up, with special wishes (in German) on the sails.

Things like this make such days really memorable.
